Universal SLYR Headset - Weekly Tech Article 10/26

Recently, SkullCandy came out with a new product, and this time it isn't just for music. Their new headset is a universal device, meaning it works on any console (Xbox, PS3, Wii, PC). They make this work by using a USB cable to hook up the headset, rather than a cable just for one console. This cool new headset comes in different colors and has many cool features such as supreme high definition sound, a microphone that can fold into the headset itself, the ability to listen to your game audio in your headphones as well as chatting with your friends at the same time, and custom sound adjustments to make settings just right for games, music, and movies. I really like that this gaming headset has a mic that folds in because it can also pass as headphones. SLYR combines power, style, and performance for an ultimate game changing experience.

Verizon Sold Only 651,000 iPhone 5s Last Month - Weekly Tech Article 10/19

Just this last month, Verizon sold only 651,000 iPhone 5s. This may seem like an extremely high number, but out of 3.1 million iPhones sold last month, only about 1/6 of those were iPhone 5s. This was upsetting for Apple, because they had planned to sell a ton more. However, this upsetting event for Apple was a blessing for Verizon. The reason for this low sale is because after 7 or so iPhones, people are starting to catch on and realize the insane price drop of the previous iPhone, that is basically the same thing as the newer ones. If Apple wants to make huge sales again in the future, they need new ideas and new gadgets in their products, because people will stop buying.

Angry Birds Star Wars - Tech Article 10/12

Angry Birds: Star Wars is coming next month. Rovio will team up with Lucasfilm for the latest expansion to its empire of cranky avians. This game will feature all of the birds you have seen before, but with lightsabers and bad '70s hairdos. Many users are looking forward to the new edition to one of the most bought apps ever. However, companies that rival Rovio such as Zynga are dreading the release, because their finances will probably be cut by a lot.

iPad Mini Coming Soon - Tech Article 10/5

A major Apple investor claims that the iPad Mini invitations to the unveiling will be mailed out October 10th. If this is true, this means that the iPad Mini will be shown to the public October 17th, and release sometime early November. Personally, I think that this is a horrible idea... Either go big with the iPad or go small with the iTouch... Why go in between? It is an awkward size and a waste of money, especially if you already have an iPad or iTouch. Why make this smaller version of iPad? Because anything with an Apple logo on it will sell. Why not call it the iPhone Giant? All in all, I think this invention is terrible.
